Maya's video stops for an ad. On a normal watch party, the room drifts apart and someone types "wait, pause". WatchSync pauses everyone, tells them why, and starts the room again the moment she's back.

It does the same when someone's video is still loading. If a wait runs past 90 seconds, the others choose: keep waiting, or watch without her.

While Maya watches her ad, Sam and Leo wait at the same frame. Their screens say "Maya is on an ad · about 0:20 left", then "Back together" when everyone plays again.

Beyond play and pause.

Start together with a 3-2-1, quiet drift correction, next episodes together, and what WatchSync can and can't see.
